Engineering foundation

Computer engineering at Sharif University of Technology and subsequent software roles made reliability, testing, and operational constraints part of how I frame a problem.

Machine-learning specialization

An MSc in Artificial Intelligence shifted the emphasis from building software alone to studying how learning systems behave under scarce data and consequential errors.

Biomedical research

Recent work spans ECG representation learning, interpretable clinical-risk modeling, and cold-start drug–target affinity prediction. Across these settings, I study how useful structure can be designed into a method and evaluated honestly.

Current work

The current thread connects data efficiency, generalization under shift, interpretability, uncertainty, evaluation, and the engineering needed to execute careful experiments.
